Who We Are

Nicolet Capital Partners, LLC, located in Chicago, IL, is a private equity firm that invests in middle-market Plastics, Packaging and Converting companies that have a meaningful, distinct and sustainable market position. Our interests span the entire value chain from basic chemicals through finished products across a wide range of materials, manufacturing technologies and business models. New platform investments will typically have revenues of $30 – $300 million and a mature operating profile as evidenced by cash operating income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and certain other non-cash charges “EBITDA”) in excess of $7 million.

Nicolet Capital’s equity investments generally range from $20 to $75 million and may represent either a majority or minority ownership interest.  We may provide either common or preferred equity and have particular expertise tailoring our investments to address complex ownership and governance considerations.  Nicolet Capital often provides any necessary junior debt financing for its transactions as part of its investment strategy.
